Richard Strautman selected for Sixty People Over Sixty
Recently one of our members, Richard Strautman, was selected by the School Business Partnership of Long Island as one of Sixty People Over Sixty who have shaped Long Island into the great community that it is today. These honorees have made contributions to all facets of life, including education, business, medicine and health care, media, science, technology, public service and not for profit organizations. Richard Strautman is being recognized as the result of the work of his consulting company and his active role in such community organizations as the Chamber of Commerce of Port Washington, the Community Chest of Port Washington, and the Business and Tourism Development Corporation of the Town of North Hempstead. The event is being held at the Crest Hollow Country Club at 6:00 pm on Thursday, October 23, 2008.
